Coaches, Officials and Volunteers

The smooth running of any club depends on volunteers, West Cheshire Athletic Club coaches and judges are all volunteers, If you have some spare time to help with the smooth running of the club in any way you will be made very welcome. Please contact or speak to any club official, if you wish to help in any way. All coaches and officials are checked by the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB).

Coaching

West Cheshire A.C. encourage all coaching volunteers to become qualified uk:athletics coaches, from level 1 to level 4. Working with Children qualifications, Child Protection and First Aid Courses are also available through the club.
West Cheshire are part of the Cheshire Athletics Network which was formed in 2010.

Officials

West Cheshire A.C. encourage all volunteer officials to become qualified uk:athletics officials, There are courses available in Starter, Marksman, Time-Keeping, Track and Field Judging as well as Road Running and Cross Country Officials. Risk assessment courses are also available for all officials. If you are interested in officiating and would like to know more select T&F officials on the Contact Us page.

Volunteers

All volunteers are very welcome for all jobs from Scoring, Team Management, Catering, Fund Raising and General support for all of our events. We need as many volunteers as we can get. Even if its only five minutes on competition days right through to helping on training nights, any amount of time is valuble to us. If you would like to help in any way please contact any club official.
